This should stretch us a little bit. Yesterday I was in the grocery and there was a World War 2 veteran in the checkout lane next to mine. He was in a motorized scooter and had a tough time getting his items on the checkout. As I was finishing my purchase I noticed he was struggling to get his wallet out of his pants pocket. The guy in the next isle saw what was happening and moved quickly and swiped his card and paid for the veteran’s groceries.

The old man looked up as he was still trying to get his wallet out and said, “You don’t have to do that.”

The stranger said, “Thank you for serving,” shook his hand and walked away.

So the #HumpDayChallenge is to pay for the car behind you in the drive thru, or for a stranger’s meal or groceries. Be the difference.
